Refund Policy

How deposits, payments and refunds work for our services.
This Refund Policy explains how payments and refunds are handled for services provided by Comrade Ventures (Company Registration No. 003004854-H) (“Comrade”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Because our work is bespoke and delivered as a service, this policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and your Engagement Agreement.
1. Deposits
Most projects begin with a non-refundable deposit, which reserves your slot in our schedule and covers initial discovery, planning and resourcing. Once work has commenced, the deposit is not refundable.
2. Milestone and progress payments
Payments made for completed milestones or for work already performed are non-refundable, as they represent time, effort and resources already committed to your project.
3. Cancellation by you
You may cancel an engagement at any time by written notice. On cancellation, you will be invoiced for all work completed and costs incurred up to the cancellation date. Any amount you have paid that exceeds the value of work performed will be refunded; any shortfall will be invoiced to you.
4. Cancellation by us
In the rare event that we are unable to continue an engagement, we will notify you and refund any prepaid amounts for work not yet performed.
5. Retainers and subscriptions
Ongoing retainer or subscription services (for example maintenance or digital marketing) are billed in advance for each period. You may cancel before the next billing period; fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable, and you will retain access for the remainder of that period.
6. Third-party costs
Amounts paid on your behalf to third parties (such as domains, hosting, licences, paid plugins, advertising spend or stock assets) are non-refundable once purchased, as these are outside our control.
7. Requesting a refund
To request a refund or discuss any concern, email [email protected] with your project details. We review every request in good faith and aim to respond within seven (7) business days. Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the start of your engagement applies to that engagement.
